![]() ![]() I do want to put another 16 GB ram into it.Īlso, just checked, it is a memory hog. Might give it a bit until I actually upgrade though.Īlso, I've had 3 clients connected to plex, locally and remotely streaming shows off of the zfs and no one had any issues with playback. Yeah I read about Ubuntu integrating it and will definitely consider updating. Internally, moving files across the file system I'm maxing out the sata channels. ![]() I did some speed tests and my bottleneck is easily my Internet. I eventually plan to get bigger drives and convert to raidz2. But the ram I'm using is Īn Intel i5, forget the exact number but it was a budget buy, especially since my server isn't going to be that big of a work horse. I'm on mobile so this is going to look like shit. On a final note, if you're having problems, please let us know at /r/sonarr or our forums. As long as you have a separate category in sabnzbd (with sabToSickbeard script disabled), both can co-exist without any issue. Ironically, you don't have to migrate your whole collection! Just pick a couple of current shows, disable those in SB, add em to Sonarr and test it out. That said, there are some ideas on how to make the Import Existing UI more user friendly when dealing with a lot of shows, such as a table layout so you can scroll through em and add them in groups. Taking a bit of time to get to know it is a good thing, saves you from some nasty surprises (and yes, that also means enabling a recycle bin folder). (Using the SB database as hint definitely improves that since it has the exact tvdbid)īut the fact remains that Sonarr is different than Sickbeard, both in how it does things and how you have to configure it. The reason the user has to individually add each series, is to verify that Sonarr parsed right one, after all sometimes the name contains a year, sometimes not. Other question was "why do I have to click Add x times? Gimme Add-all!". So I kind of kept it on a branch, collecting dust.Įverytime I run into someone migrating a huge collection, I think "maybe I should finish that", then look at all the other cool stuff waiting on my desk. yuck), and the way it was supposed to be used wasn't intuitive at all. Answer is: I actually did a prototype a year ago, problem was that I couldn't be sure it would work reliably on all SB forks (a missing feature is one thing, a broken feature. ![]() I've seen the same question a couple of times "Can't you write a migration tool?" is the general gist. It's like the OS wars, 'Best' is debatable. ![]() "use what works best for ya" is usually my answer.
